A small care home runs on paper. Shift notes on a clipboard, vitals in a ring binder, resident records in a filing cabinet, supplies on a whiteboard someone wipes by accident. Nothing is searchable. Nothing reconciles. When the regulator asks for two years of documentation, somebody spends a weekend in a storage room.

The people using it every shift are not chosen for their comfort with software, so anything needing more than one training session fails. Resident data is sensitive by definition, so hosting, access control and audit trails had to be settled before a feature was designed. And care documentation gets printed and copied constantly, so every screen had to survive becoming a black-and-white page.

Caregiver documentation, resident records, ADLs, vitals, intake, shift logs, tasks, supplies, employee records and management reporting. One system, on a phone or a desk, with the paper forms it replaces still recognizable in its layout, because the fastest way to make a caregiver trust new software is to make it look like the form they already know.
